What grades attend BASEC Vacation Programs?

BASEC Vacation Programs are school-age programs open to students in grades K – 8.

To meet our licensing requirements, we can only accept students during the summer that attended school between the grades of K – 8 during the previous school year; therefore, a student entering kindergarten in September is not yet eligible for BASEC Summer Vacation Programming.

BASEC programs are intentionally designed to be developmentally appropriate for students of different ages (e.g.: K students are automatically enrolled in their own specialized curriculum). To best engage our students, certain curriculum choices are available only to students in specific grades. Please see our curriculum choices page for more information.
